I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you enormously for the tour that you conducted today. It was absolutely fascinating, interesting and challenging and enabled me to see Manchester in a whole new light. Your passion for the subject matter and for Manchester itself was obvious from your explanations.

I commend and praise the staff of The Urbis for their excellent selection of guided tours conducted around the city of Manchester.  On Friday the 2nd of October 2009 I was fortunate enough to experience ‘The Radical Manchester Tour’ and was guided enthusiastically by one of your tour guides through the social, political and historical background of ‘Industrial Manchester’.
I’d like to state that it was wonderful to see and learn about another perspective on my home town…. I would like to further state that it’s extremely important that the diversity of your tours should continue.  The reason for this is that connections to the roots of our political and historical past fuel and inspire the ideas and ideals of our future generations….It is ideas, inspiration and vision that have made Manchester the great international city that it is today, here’s hoping that you continue with all your great work.
